Blue Monster reopens after redesign by Hanse, ASGCA

Gil Hanse, ASGCA, has completed the redesign on the famed Blue Monster course at Trump National Doral, Miami. The course has reopened, and it's ever-so-subtle owner states, "it's a brand new course, not a re-do."

 
Jones, ASGCA and Bergin, ASGCA, complete Winter Haven renovation

A major renovation at the 18-hole Country Club of Winter Haven (Orlando, Fla.) has been completed and the course reopened. The project was led by ASGCA Past President Rees Jones and Bill Bergin, ASGCA Associate.

 
Lloyd Clifton, ASGCA Fellow, dies at age 89

Lloyd M. Clifton, Sr., a Fellow of the American Society of Golf Course Architects and a founding member of the design firm Clifton, Ezell, Clifton Golf Design Group (CEC Design Group), died Dec. 10, 2013. He was 89.

 
2016 Olympic Course design update from Hanse, ASGCA

It may be the most-discussed new course design and construction happening in the world today. Gil Hanse, ASGCA, provided background and a project update on the 2016 Summer Olympic Games project to the Golf Channel.
