Shovels are in the ground and construction underway for a new 18-hole course at Southern Oaks Golf Club, Lake City, Florida. The course – a unique design featuring an equal number of par 3’s, 4’s and 5’s – is a project from ASGCA members Ken Ezell and George Clifton, CEC Golf Design Group.
The video here includes a look at the original blueprints and a visit to the project site from Ezell. The anticipated opening date for Southern Oaks is summer/fall 2021.
